About Me

Hi, my name is Torekhan. I am from Kazakhstan, which is in Central-Asia. I am trying to bring the Central-Asian art of coding to the world through the vision and perspective of the region.

Technology

I am building my path in IT through FOSS, software engineering and constant learning. For me, technology is not only about tools — it is also about discipline, curiosity and consistency. Instead of talking about the future you can create it.

Sport

Football, hockey, volleyball, badminton and of course padel all have a place in my life. Sport teaches rhythm, focus, teamwork and respect for the process — values that naturally influence the way I live.

Literature

Sometimes you want to save children like in"Catcher in the Rye". you realize that everyone should get his own fire from the peak of the mountain as did John Galt from "Atlas Shrugged".
Sometimes Santiago from "Alchemist" makes you wake up in the morning.
Sometimes you forget everything and dive so deep into human's soul with Russian and Kazakh writers.
Sometimes you think it would better if you didn't new anything.
Reading makes you to think. Thinking is action. Action is life.

Family

Family is important. More and more, I think not only about what we can give children, but what we can teach them — and how to become a good example for them. To discuss theory with my family sometimes I do writing.
